BLACK EINSTEIN GOES IN SEARCH OF MAJOR TOM: Colin Emmanuel debuts his new collective project with a FREE Bowie Inspired EP “Whatever Happened To Major Tom”.

                                                                    

Black Einstein is both the musical pseudonym of London based producer Colin Emmanuel and the name of his new collective project. “Whatever Happened To Major Tom” is it’s Bowie inspired debut offering, available as a free download from November 15^th from http://blackeinstein.bandcamp.com/

From the Black Einstein Collective It features the talented soulful singers Miss Baby Sol and Xavier Barnet and the MC skills of Mystro and Maseo from De La Soul.

Ty's Something Big Xmas Special

TY and Big Ted were in a near miss accident on the way to a gig from London to Penzance at 13.06pm 10th July 2010. We have spoken to TY, Big Ted and Raj (Management) and we are happy to say they, along with the driver and passengers are well. Still waiting for the train to getting moving.

British Black Music Month

What is British Black Music Month? BBMM was an initiative started by the Black Music Congress in 2006 to celebrate domestic black music, address issues within the sector, and to improve music industry knowledge, and kicked off on May 28 2010.

As part of BBMM TY is doing a special Q&A and Album Showcase on Thursday 10th June 2010 at the British Music Experience (O2). "This album showcase and Q&A will be an important moment for me to talk to the audience about why I make music the way I do!" TY

Official album launch @ Jazz Cafe 31.05.10

The official album launch for Ty's latest latets album Special Kind of Fool kicks off on Monday 31st June 2010 at Jazz Cafe. Tickets are going fast so be quick we would love to see all the fans and music lovers there.
There will be live set from TY and his band which will also feature Robin Mullarkey, Simon Collam, Richard Spaven, Vula Malinga and Sharlene Hector.

TY Q&A and Album Showcase - Thursday 10th June 2010

Join acclaimed international Hip Hop artist TY for an exclusive evening at the British Music Experience to mark the release of his forthcoming single 'Heart is Breaking' featuring Sway from the highly anticipated album Special Kind of Fool.

This will be an opportunity to take part in a Q&A with TY hosted by British Music Experience curator Paul Lilley and hear tracks from the new album and see TY perform with long time DJ partner Big Ted.

Throughout June British Music Experience will exhibit the original TY album artwork for Special Kind of Fool. See the impressive life-size TY sculpture head created by Ben Wachenje, a stunning iconic depiction of one of the great pioneers of UK Hip Hop.

To celebrate British Black Music Month all visitors to the British Music Experience during June will receive a FREE download of TY's current single 'Emotions'

The new Ty album Special Kind of Fool will be available to buy in the BME shop on CD and on limited edition Vinyl.
